Dr. Craig Nachbauer is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and has practiced thoracic and vascular surgery since 1991. He is experienced in medical record review, determinations of standard of care, and deposition and testimony in medical malpractice cases. Dr. Nachbauer received his thoracic surgery residency at the Ohio State University Hospitals. After a fellowship in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery at Emory University, he completed his training as Clinical Associate in Cardiothoracic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic. Currently, Dr. Nachbauer is in private practice, specializing in thoracic and vascular surgery. He is the medical director of the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital Wound Center. He is medical director of the University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital Wound Center.

She graduated with a BS in Nursing from the University of Iowa and received her Wound/Ostomy education from M.D. Anderson Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She has been the Clinical Nurse Specialist for Wound & Ostomy care at UnityPoint Trinity for the past 34 years. Mary served on the National WOCN Certification Board from 2010-2014, and was asked to join ISTAP (an International Nurses Advisory Panel) in 2011. In June, 2016 Mary received “WOC Nurse of the Year” award from the United Ostomy Association of America.
