Dianne holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from the Montclair State College. Dianne is a Certified Case Manager, Certified Disability Management Specialist and a Certified Life Care Planner through MediPro Seminars, LLC and the University of Florida. Dianne has been providing rehabilitation services for over 28 years with a focus on individuals with brain injuries for the past 16 years. Dianne’s brain injury experience is invaluable since people with brain injuries come with many other diagnosis; some of the more frequent diagnosis are orthopedic, paralysis, burns, behavior and amputations. With this experience Dianne founded Simmons Grab & Associates in 2005. Simmons Grab & Associates LLC is a group of forensic consultants with courtroom experience specializing in Future Medical Costs / Services through life expectancy in light of injuries / impairments (Life Care Planning)and Vocational Evaluations to determine a persons capacity for employment, and if deemed employable, identify jobs they can perform, how many jobs exist in the area, and the salary ranges. Gretchen Bakkenson, MA, CRC, CLCP currently serves as a vocational expert and vocational rehabilitation counselor in the western United States. Ms. Bakkenson’s career as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor began in 1991 with the Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in Boise, ID. Gretchen’s love and dedication for the field blossomed from there. Ms. Bakkenson pursued a doctorate degree through the University Idaho in Adult Education and Rehabilitation Counseling until her family relocated to Arizona. Returning to Arizona resulted in a transition of her vocational rehabilitation career to the private sector. Ms. Bakkenson’s practice involves vocational rehabilitation counseling, planning and placement; evaluation of medical, therapeutic, goods, and services needed by an individual, as a result of an injury or medical condition; life care plan for use in development of structured settlements, Special Needs Trusts, and liability litigation such as medical malpractice or personal injury; consultation services related to the evaluation of individuals to determine employability as well as future, present and past vocational earning capacity and economic damages; and expert testimony regarding life care planning, vocational earning capacity and employability. Ms. Bakkenson is a recognized expert at the Industrial Commission of Arizona, the Office of Hearings and Appeals of the Social Security Administration, Superior Courts of Arizona and other administrative courts throughout the west.
