Self-employed as an investigator working for insurance firms by conducting investigations into personal injury and worker's compensation cases and assisting them with their court appearances.   I also work with attorneys in criminal cases interviewing witness, collecting evidence and court appearances.
Lynchburg Department
May 1978-June 1993
Received complaints and reports of emergencies, reviewed and responded to calls, investigated and determined need for police action, and directed or assisted subordinates in handling difficult problems.  Took charge of crime scenes in the absence of a superior officer.  Supervised and conducted investigations.  Investigated complaints against subordinate officers.  Prepared reports and maintained activity records.
