Development of loss prevention programs and security controls and service as consultant on
state-of-the-art systems and procedures. Responsible for all manner of white collar
and criminal investigations, corporate and individual investigations, undercover and
surveillance work, due diligence, property searches, judgement searches, D.B.A. and
incorporation searches, civil and criminal index checks, bankruptcy file checks, fraud
investigations, drug abuse assistance and detection work, both privately and corporately,
the serving of subpoenas and taking witness statements in civil and criminal prosecutorial

Vice-President of Corporate Security
Reported directly to the Senior Vice President-Finance/CFO. Managed all
security operations and planning for domestic and international offices, showrooms,
distribution centers and three retail divisions encompassing 92 stores. Responsible
for hiring, training and supervising 25+ management/administrative and 190+ contract
uniform personnel. Prepared and administered a $6 million annual budget.
Trained supervisory staff in preliminary investigation of Workers Compensation, product
diversion and counterfeiting cases. Coordinated all emergency services.
Developed corporate relationships with law enforcement/safety agencies. Personally
directed high-level confidential investigations. Chaired Safety Committee.
Postal Inspector in the Mail Fraud, Internal and External Crime
Units. Conducted investigations into Worker's Compensation and Medical Provider
fraud, Physical Security Specialists and Undercover Operative. Served as lecturer
and training instructor. Developed innovative investigative programs in the areas of
Financial Depreciation and Worker's Compensation fraud, utilized presently throughout the
nation. Served as agency representative on several federal and local Task Forces and
participated as a team member in the DEA narcotics task force, FBI Medicaid/Medicar and
medical provider fraud task force and the Southern District's organized crime task force.
