| Graduated from the University of Minnesota, Bemidji Branch in 1966, with a B.S. Degree in English, and minors in Accounting and History. |
| Graduated from Hibbing Junior College, Hibbing Minnesota, with an Associates in Arts Degree, with a major in Pre-law. |
| Graduated from the United States Treasury academy. |
| Graduated from the United States Marshals Academy. |
| Graduated from the United States Marshals Service Special Operations Group Academy, and served as a Special Operations Group member for four years. |
| Attended investigative technique, protection, and security technique schools and seminars on a regular basis throughout my 30 year career. |
EXPERIENCE |
| 1966-1968 | I was a Special Agent with the Criminal Investigative Division of the IRS. As such, I worked as a covert operative in Organized Crime cases. |
| 1968-1996 | I started as a
Deputy U.S. Marshal in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Worked as a Warrants specialist,
involving the location and arrest of fugitives. Worked as a Witness Protection
Specialist, Judicial Protection Specialist, and all other aspects of the investigative
functions of the U.S. Marshals Service. I held the ranks of Inspector, Supervisor, and in 1975, I was promoted to the rank of Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal. I served as the Chief Deputy in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Los Angeles, California, Tampa, Florida, and Honolulu, Hawaii. |
