W.B. POMEROY & ASSOCIATES responds to the investigative assignments within twenty-four hours of contact from the client.  A preliminary report of fire investigations is provided within twenty-four hours of the fire scene examination, which can avoid unnecessary expense to the client where a full report is not required.  Final written reports are provided to the client within two weeks of the investigation when required.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Fire investigation by the Agency provides cause and origin determination, photographic documentation and scene reconstruction.   Examination and analysis within the fields of electrical engineering, metallurgy and chemistry are utilized where appropriate to the investigation. The capability to provide a comprehensive fire scene investigation is established through the coordinated efforts of cause and origin analysis in conjunction with these related investigative fields.

POMEROY & ASSOCIATES offers investigative services designed to meet the specific needs of its clients.  Effective handling of property and casualty insurance claims, including loss recovery matters, can be facilitated by our wide-ranging investigative abilities.  Our investigators conduct a variety of investigations with emphasis on S. I. U. investigations.  Computerized information is readily available.

THE STAFF

Education of the investigators was obtained at several universities and colleges.  Federal and State agencies, as well as private industry, have provided schools and training sessions which have added to our investigators knowledge and ability.
