The ABC's for Doing Business Online |
What does it mean to be Online? The modem rings, the user is online and a world of choices is only a mouse click away. NUA Surveys suggests that there are currently approximately 407.1 million world-wide Internet users; 167.12 million of these users are in USA & Canada.1 Many Internet users are more likely to go to a web page for information before calling a business. Those around the age of 18, leaving home for the first time, have always known there to be an Internet. These fresh clients are comfortable finding businesses and services over the World Wide Web. So it becomes increasingly important for businesses to get online. Being online for a business ideally means they have a web page with information about who they are and what they can do. This newsletter addresses: benefits of being online; online precautions for businesses; how to get a web page online; and how to drive traffic to your site so you may be “seen” in cyberspace.
